Please HELP I need help with a personal finance question?

I am suppose to find the interest margin to average earnings asset of bank of america for 2009. I am not sure exactly what I am suppose to do. I have went to bank of america's annual reports, and to yahoo finance and I am still having problem figuring out how to do this and its due today. Please help me understand.
