Is there anyone that has a class or course that can help me as I get into real estate investing?

I just received a settlement and want to invest it properly, I know real estate can be a very good market because prices are low but I don't want to make a mistake. I am look for an experienced person that offers help to newcomers. Does anyone know of anything like that?
