How do I start as being an investor or something that helps me save up money the right way?

Say, I finished college but starting to live in the real world with almost NOTHING at all? Maybe not exactly nothing but the real world's all new to me and I only know how to save, save, and save. I'm still looking for work.

Investment's interesting to me so what do I do? Basic steps, please. Gimme a simple "manual".
