      The Big Decision: Life Insurance

When it comes to choosing a Baton Rouge life insurance policy, there are many different decisions that need to be made. First is the choice of a provider. Once you find a provider you like, you will need to choose between level term life insurance and decreasing term life insurance. In order to make this decision, you will need to know about the differences between the two.

What Every Auto Insurance Policy Should Have

What Every Auto Insurance Policy Should Have

Having car insurance isn’t just a good thing to have on hand, it’s the law. There are hundreds of insurance companies out there now to choose from. It seems that most of them focus only on the monthly cost of the policy, not what the policy actually covers. There’s more to a good policy than the price. Here’s a quick list of some of the things a good Tyler, TX auto insurance policy needs to cover.

      Liability and Collision

Never buy car insurance that doesn’t include at least both of these types of coverage.

      • Liability – covers bodily injury to the other driver and property damage if the accident is your fault. It will help pay for any damage done to a person’s body, car, or home in the event you are found at fault for the damage. If you were to run into someone’s fence and tore it down, the policy would cover the cost of replacing the fence and other repairs needed.
      • Collision – when combined with liability, this policy is called “full coverage”.  Collision covers your car and your physical person whereas liability covers anyone you may hit and their property. It covers accidents, car theft, vandalism to your car, hail damage, tornado damage, and even broken windows and windshields. There is typically a deductable that must be met before the insurance kicks in. For instance, the insured may have to pay the first 500 dollars in repairs and then the insurance company will pay the rest of the cost of repairs. (more…)
