Pre-existing condition, where to get insurance?

Individual,diabetic, 40's,a tad overweight
You'll be an automatic decline, in most states. I'm assuming you're not in one of the 'guaranteed issue' states, or you wouldn't be having a problem.
So, you would need to get coverage either through an employer on a group plan (your employer, or your spouse's), or through the government (medicaid - welfare health insurance), or through your state's high risk health pool, if you have one, or if you're coming off insurance elsewhere, you can talk to a local agent about buying a hipaa policy.
