Will my insurance company provide the reason why i needed an ambulance on my insurance statement? I'd like to know so I know to keep track of what is what.

No, they won't.

How often do you need an ambulance, for heaven's sake? Don't you remember why you needed a ride in one?

(If your question is really "Will my dad know that I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance because I passed out drunk at the park?" the answer is no.)

No, they don't.

But they won't COVER that ambulance ride, unless you're subsequently ADMITTED to the hospital. Then, the bills that the hospital starts putting through, will pretty well describe what the ambulance ride was all about.
