A neighbour and I are interested in starting a website to promote some very artistic wreaths that she makes. She already has fairly moderate success for someone who makes them in her spare time and gets customers solely by word of mouth and no advertising.
She is looking to expand locally and the best way that we can think of is through a website/Facebook mix, plus fliers put up at business's around town. What is the best way to make a website that you are likely to find if you were looking for wreaths on Google. I know you can make free sites that are an extension of a main one, like ning.com. However, she is looking to get some business through the site and most sites on ning do not get discovered unless by accident. How would we go about getting a domain solely for her wreath business?
