Do you guys think this sound like a job ad scam?

Ok so I typed up my application letter and was all set to email it along with my resume but then I thought "hmm, I don't think I should". it was advertised in local paper as retail assistants plus detailed description of job. There is no company name, no name of manager and it says to email [email protected]. Didn't seem right to me. What do you guys think?

You could send a short email to [email protected] and ask for the name of the company and a contact name(like a manager or HR Dept. If they don't reply, it could be an indication that it's a scam.
Try Googling the email address and see what comes up.
