I lost my health insurance due to job loss, I had cobra but not anymore?

We had previously had insurance through the husband employer, they don't offer it for spouses where he works now, it is a smaller company, I could not afford to pay full price cobra every month on myself it was 500 a month. I am currently doing without and can not get it from a private insurer due to pre -existing conditions, I was denied?
What can I do?

Husband either needs to find another job, or you need to find a job with health insurance.

Or, you can check with your state high risk health pool, if your state has one, or if you can afford it.

You could also look for a HIPAA policy, but since your conditions are severe enough to get you denied, there's no way that's going to be cheaper than COBRA.
